SURABAYA - Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin distributed social assistance (bansos) to Elderly Beneficiaries (PM) in the City of Heroes. The distribution of the aid took place at the Balai Pemuda Building on the west side of Surabaya Square.

In his speech, Ma'ruf Amin said that there were a number of types of assistance that he distributed this time. Meanwhile, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini explained that a number of social assistance provided by the Vice President ranged from BLT cooking oil, educational scholarships to business capital for Low-Income Communities (MBR).

"There is a handover of business capital assistance for MBR residents. So, they are expected to receive social assistance, but they also have a business," said Risma.

In addition to business capital assistance, said Social Minister Risma, on this occasion the Vice President also distributed ATENSI assistance for people with disabilities. ATENSI assistance is intended for wives and children with disabilities in order to help their family's economy.

"We are trying to empower his wife, we are providing capital assistance for a grocery store business for his wife," he said.

Not only that, the Minister of Social Affairs also mentioned that other assistance given by the Vice President this time was in the form of a program for students and female students from BAZNAS. Also, a number of assistance programs from BPJS Employment and scholarships were also handed over.
