JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin reviewed the development of permanent housing and temporary housing for the victims affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru, in Sumber Mujur Village, Candipuro District, Lumajang, East Java.

"The head of BNPB and all are working hard so that it can be carried out (providing) a clean place. The permanent housing is ready, all that's left is the temporary housing, so that it is complete," said the Vice President in a press release quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 2.

The vice president received information on permanent housing for victims affected by the eruption, totaling 1,951 units, all of which have been built and use earthquake-resistant housing technology.

While temporary housing, from the target of 1,951 units, 878 units have been built, with details of the completed category as many as 437 units, in the process of completion as many as 441 units, and 130 units have been occupied.

Ma'ruf Amin expressed his appreciation for the hard efforts made by all parties in accelerating the management of the Mount Semeru eruption disaster.
