KPK Investigate Money Flow In Land Procurement Case At SMKN 7 Tangsel

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has investigated the alleged flow of money to various parties in the land acquisition process for the construction of SMKN 7 South Tangerang (Tangsel), Banten.

The KPK confirmed this to the Lurah Rengas, Tangsel, Agus Salim, who was examined as a witness at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Monday (30/5), during an investigation into a corruption case related to land acquisition for the construction of SMKN 7 Tangsel at the Banten Province Education and Culture Office. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named three suspects in the case, namely the Secretary of the Banten Province Education and Culture Office / Budget User Power (KPA) of the Banten Province Education and Culture Office, Ardius Prihantono (AP) and two private parties, namely Agus Kartono (AK) and Farid Nurdiansyah ( FN).

The KPK today also summoned two notaries to be examined as witnesses for the suspect Ardius Prihantono, namely Mur Meuthia Syavaranti and Siti Zamzam.

The KPK suspects that the state/regional financial loss related to the case amounted to Rp. 10.5 billion. Meanwhile, the suspect Agus received around Rp. 9 billion and Farid received around Rp. 1.5 billion.

For their actions, the suspects are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. .

To speed up the investigation process, the KPK has also detained the suspects for 20 days each from April 26 to May 15, 2022.

The suspect, Agus Kartono, is being held at the KPK Rutan, Pomdam Jaya Guntur Branch, Jakarta, and the suspect Farid Nurdiansyah is being held at the KPK Detention Center, the KPK Merah Putih building, Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the suspect Ardius Prihantono was not detained by the KPK because he was still in the process of being detained by the Banten High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) in the computer procurement case.
