AKP Bambang said that when interrogated, KJ admitted that he had abused the victim. The police took the perpetrator to the Padangsidimpuan Police Headquarters for further processing.

"The results of the post-mortem and the crowbar which were allegedly used as tools to persecute the victim became evidence," he said.

For his actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 351 Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.
