Because Of Love Affairs, Men In Bali Beat Ex-Girlfriends

DENPASAR - West Denpasar Police, Bali, arrested I Made Krisna Wardana (27) who abused his ex-girlfriend Ibrenda Aprillia Candra Dewi (22).

The perpetrator abused the victim because he was annoyed that the victim wanted to break up with him. The emotional perpetrator beat the victim until he was injured.

"The perpetrator hit the victim out of revenge, because the victim accepted the perpetrator's decision and ended up getting annoyed with doing it (the torture)," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Monday, May 30.

The persecution took place on Teuku Umar Street-Batanta Island Street in front of Fitza Paparons, West Denpasar, Friday (27/5).

Initially, on Thursday, May 26, the perpetrator broke off his love relationship with the victim. The victim complied with the perpetrator's wishes.

But the next day, the perpetrator waited for the victim to come home from work. That's where the persecution took place.

"The victim was hit by the perpetrator three times. With the incident, the victim immediately reported to the West Denpasar Police," he added.

From the victim's report, the police arrested the perpetrator in Teuku Umar, Denpasar, Bali. The perpetrator admitted to assaulting the victim.

"As a result of the incident, the victim experienced pain in the left temple, swollen eyes, a torn wound in the upper mouth," said Sukadi.
