JAKARTA - The Bali Mandara Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Denpasar City has prepared 10 VVIP inpatient rooms for delegates of the G20 Indonesia Chairperson event in November 2022 who need treatment or health services.

"For VVIP, we have prepared 10 beds and if needed, we can add more," said Acting Director of the Bali Mandara Hospital, Dr. Ketut Suarjaya MPPM, quoted from Antara, Sunday.

Bali Mandara Hospital is one of five hospitals in the province of Bali which is a referral hospital to handle emergency conditions for delegates who will attend the G20 Indonesia Chairperson event.

In addition to the Bali Mandara Hospital, there is also the Sanglah Hospital, Siloam Hospital, BIMC Nusa Dua Hospital, and the State University Hospital (PTN) of Udayana University.

"Under the coordination of the Bali Provincial Health Office, we have prepared infrastructure, health workers, emergency room, ICU and VVIP inpatient rooms," he said.

The former head of the Bali Provincial Health Office added that health workers are available in sufficient numbers and with various specializations.

In addition, the Bali Mandara Hospital also has excellent services, such as surgical services, hemodialysis services, comprehensive services, medical cosmetic services and integrated cancer services which will soon be launched by the Governor of Bali Wayan Koster.

Suarjaya said the Bali Mandara Hospital would provide health services to the delegates or participants of the G20 Chair whose disease cases were classified as moderate and severe.

Mild cases will be handled at the meeting location which is equipped with a mini ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

Then when there are cases of illness, they will be referred to the nearest hospital, namely BIMC Nusa Dua and PTN Unud Hospital.

"We are always committed to providing quality services. The Ministry of Health has previously visited to see the preparations we have made," said Suarjaya.
