BENGKULU - The Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) of Bengkulu Province said several parties had distributed bulk cooking oil to several markets in Bengkulu.

Head of the Bengkulu Province Disperindag, Yennita Syaiful, said that the Bengkulu Bulog Divre also helped distribute 8 tons of bulk cooking oil to South Bengkulu Regency.

Then the Indonesian Traders Association (PPI) Bengkulu has distributed cooking oil to traders at the Panorama Market in Bengkulu City.

"PPI has distributed bulk cooking oil in the panoramic market, but the amount is not yet known," Yennita said, quoted by Antara, Saturday, May 28.

After distributing it to markets in Bengkulu City, PPI will later distribute it to a number of markets in the district.

The distribution of bulk cooking oil is carried out to help people get cooking oil at a cheap price, namely Rp. 14 thousand per liter and Rp. 15.5 thousand per kilogram.

Previously, as much as 500 tons of bulk cooking oil arrived in Bengkulu Province and was distributed by the Bengkulu Indonesian Traders Association (PPI).

The addition of the quota was due to the fact that the bulk cooking oil stock in Bengkulu Province was empty, so that his party again added the cooking oil quota.

The arrival of bulk cooking oil in Bengkulu was delayed due to limited tank transportation in Bengkulu Province.
