JAKARTA - PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta arranged a special operation pattern for long-distance train departures from Gambir Station today. This arrangement was made to anticipate delays for train service users to Gambir Station due to the diversion of traffic due to the demonstration being held.

The Head of Public Relations of KAI Daop 1, Eva Chairunisa, explained that the arrangement of the operation pattern was carried out for six train trips from Gambir Station which would stop specifically at Jatinegara Station to serve service users.

The following is a list of 6 train departures from Gambir Station which stop at Jatinegara Station:

- KA 7030A Argo Parahyangan departs from Gambir Station at 07.50 WIB

- KA 10 Argo Dwipangga departs from Gambir Station at 08.00 WIB

Eva said, all train departures from Gambir Station have not changed. By regulating the special operation pattern, it is hoped that the community will be able to avoid the risk of congestion that might occur due to the diversion of traffic to Gambir Station and have the option of being able to depart from Jatinegara Station.

"When normal trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station, but specifically Tuesday, October 20, 2020, they will stop at Jatinegara Station for the process of getting on and off passengers. This is done to make it easier for prospective train passengers not to be affected by traffic jams when going to Gambir Station and experiencing delays, "said Eva in a written statement, Tuesday, October 20.

KAI also reminded train users who will board from Jatinegara Station to bring the results of the rapid test / PCR test with non-reactive results or a certificate of free from influenza symptoms in accordance with applicable regulations because there is no rapid test service available at Jatinegara Station.

PT KAI appealed to prospective passengers to anticipate by estimating the departure time of their trains, so as not to be left behind. In addition, prospective train passengers can also find out information about train travel through the Contact Center 121 line (021) 121, customer service [email protected] and social media @keretaapikita @ kai121_, "said Eva.
