Sulastri, Mother Of Student Brawl Victim Who Died In East Jakarta Otista Wonder: Whose Blood Is This On The Streets, How Come There Are So Many

JAKARTA - After the student stabbing incident on Jalan Industri Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, student brawls that claimed lives also occurred on Jalan Otista 3, Cipinang Cempedak Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. This event occurred in close proximity to the previous event.

The victim's initials are MF, a junior high school student in East Jakarta. MF died from a number of injuries to his body as a result of being hit by a sharp weapon on Thursday, May 26. Worse yet, the resident of RT 005/01, Cipinang Cempedak Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, received serious injuries to his lungs. Although he was taken to the hospital, the victim's life could not be saved.

Police officers are conducting an investigation through an amateur video that recorded the brawl.

Now MF has been buried in the Prumpung Public Cemetery (TPU), North Cipinang Besar, East Jakarta, Thursday, May 26, yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Sulastri, the victim's mother, admitted that she was sincere about her son's departure. He handed over the case to the police.

"I've just been sincere, yes. I handed it over to the police," said Sulastri to reporters, Friday, May 27.

Sulastri said that in the area where he lives, this is the first time a brawl has occurred and his son has become a victim in a pathetic condition.

"Because of the brawl. The wound in the lung, split," he said.

Sulastri found out that her son had become a victim of a brawl after receiving information from his son's friend who had taken him to the hospital first.

"So at first I just heard a scream, his friend told me to take the motorbike here, position in front of my house. There was a scream, 'please take my motorbike there'. I was surprised to wake up immediately (sleep)," he said.

After Sulastri woke up, she immediately checked into the location of the incident, which was near the Otista market.

"I said, O Allah, whose child is this, why is there so much blood, there is so much blood in the (alley) when you want to enter. Then market people say, Fajar's (victim) face is still the face," he said.

Not long after, there was a call from the hospital to the victim's mother explaining that the victim's condition was beyond help.

"I went to the hospital at around 02.30 WIB. I came to the hospital, my child was dead," said Sulastri.

Until now, the victim's family has not received any information about the arrest of the perpetrators who killed their child from the police.

"There has been no call from the police, the report has been made," he said.
