JAKARTA - A man in Bukit Duri, Tebet, South Jakarta was beaten by a mob after he was caught stealing Pucelle perfume at Alfamart. Dedi as the parking attendant for the mini market at the scene said that the theft took place on Thursday, May 26 at 17.30 WIB.

Dedi said, initially the perpetrator came with his friend using a motorcycle. While carrying out the action, the perpetrator entered the mini market, while his partner waited outside.

"Then the perpetrator came out to visit his friend, didn't know what to talk about, it looked suspicious. Eh, then he passed (perfume). I grabbed (arrested) immediately," said Dedi, Thursday, May 26, if it was night.

Dedi revealed that the perpetrator initially denied committing the theft. That person, said Dedi, admitted that he had paid at the cashier.

"I took it to the palace, when there was no purchase receipt. I asked the cashier, it turned out that he had not paid," he said.

After being proven to have stolen, the perpetrators fought back by kicking and hitting. Meanwhile, the perpetrator's friend, who was originally outside, immediately left the perpetrator. The perpetrator's resistance was in vain, the residents finally managed to arrest the perpetrator. After police officers arrived at the location, it was discovered that in the perpetrator's pocket there was a T key, which is usually used to break the ignition key of a motorbike.

However, Dedi confirmed that the perpetrator only stole perfume, not a motorcycle.

"But he is a perfume thief, not a motorbike thief," said Dedi as a parking attendant.

The mob witnessed the inspection, and finally beat the perpetrator to a pulp. The perpetrators were also asked for information about their identity.

"They say they are Tasik people. Really, their gestures are like drunk people," he concluded
