Empty Disdukcapil Head Chair, Paser Regency Government Immediately Auction Position

KALTIM - The seat of the Head of the Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) of the Paser Regency Government (Pemkab) of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) is vacant. The position which is currently held by the Acting Officer (Plt) will soon be auctioned off by the local district government.

"The position of Head of Disdukcapil has temporarily been filled with Acting (Plt) by the Secretary, it is likely to be auctioned," said Head of Development and Movement of the Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) Paser Liswandi in Tanah Grogot, quoted from Antara, Thursday, May 26.

As is known, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a moratorium (delay) policy on the replacement of the Heads of Provincial and Regency/City Disdukcapil which is valid from April 7 to December 31, 2022.

Meanwhile for Disdukcapil Paser, said Liswandi, the conditions are different as stated in the circular letter from the Minister of Home Affairs, because the previous official retired and had to be filled by a new official.

"The moratorium replaces or transfers Disdukcapil officials, this is empty because the officials are retired so they have to be auctioned off. It must also go through the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs," he explained.

In the process of appointing the Acting Head of Disdukcapil, for example, Liswandi said, the Paser BKPSDM has also received a recommendation from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"Including the rotation of officials at the head of the division level, or there are promotions from functional positions to the head of the division, all of this is through the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs," he said.

Liswandi said that the auction for the position of the Head of Disdukcapil Paser will be opened at the same time as the auction for the Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), who is currently also the executor of the task.

"In the near future in August, the Secretary of the DPRD Paser will also retire, possibly at the auction," he said.

He continued, BKPSDM is still waiting for the direction of the Regent of Paser regarding the opening of the auction for the position.
