Apeksi 22nd Anniversary, Bandar Lampung Police Deploy 1,000 More Members

Bandar Lampung - The City Resort Police (Polresta) of Bandar Lampung is optimizing police personnel to maintain security during the 22nd Anniversary of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (Apeksi) which will take place on 27-29 May.

"All of our personnel are prepared for security at this Apex, of course we are also coordinating with the TNI, Satpol PP, and the Transportation Agency. If the number of our personnel is more than 1,000," said Bandar Lampung Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Ino Harianto in Bandar Lampung, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, May 25.

He ensured that the entire series of Apeksi activities in the city would run safely and orderly, from the arrival to the return of delegates from all over Indonesia.

"The safety factor in every activity is very important so that the whole series runs well at the opening and when they are relaxing or cycling," he added.

His party has also held various preliminary meetings with the Bandar Lampung Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) to discuss the issue of securing guests at predetermined points.

"We have prepared a security plan for regional officials who will come at the Apex. We also have data on who comes through Radin Inten II Airport and Bakauheni Port," he said.

Overall, he added, the security for the mayors who came to the Apex event was nothing special.

"Everything we secure is not discriminated against. However, for state officials such as ministers and the family of President Joko Widodo, the security is indeed stricter," he continued.

Meanwhile, Dandim 0410/KBL Colonel Inf. Faisol Izuddin Karimi said that his party fully supports the security of the 22nd Apeksi Anniversary event in Bandarlampung with the police and related parties.

"We, from the ranks of the TNI, especially Kodim 0410/KBL, have made an integrated security plan and collaborated between the Resort Police, Satpol PP, and other agencies. In essence, we from Kodim 0410/KBL will fully support security during this Apex activity," he said. .
