Improving Citizen Health Services, Pariaman City Government Immediately Repairs Damaged Poskesdes

PARIAMAN - The City Government (Pemkot) of Pariaman, West Sumatra is seeking to immediately repair the damaged Village Health Post (Poskesdes) in order to improve residents' health services. during his remarks at the Halal Bihalal of the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) in Pariaman City and the Stunting Conference in Pariaman, Wednesday, May 25. He said that village midwives are the spearhead of health services in the village, so they must stay in the assigned area. However, many Poskesdes in Pariaman were damaged and some of them were even unfit for habitation, so urgent repairs were needed. Therefore, he asked the relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD) in the area to list and classify the conditions of the damage and repair them based on a priority scale. The repairs can start with the city government, or through the allocation of village funds as well as city budget funds," he was quoted as saying by Antara. Therefore he asked the relevant OPD in Pariaman City to hold a meeting with the village government to discuss the problem. it has 285 midwives who work in villages, health centers and offices. 44 percent of them live in villages.
