GORONTALO - The joint SAR team found the body of a fisherman who went missing while looking for fish in Limboto Lake, Gorontalo Regency.

Head of National SAR Agency Gorontalo I Made Junetra said the victim, Omi (40), went missing while fishing in Limboto Lake on Monday, May 23.

"The search process has been carried out since Monday (May 23) at night", he said in Gorontalo, Tuesday, May 24.

The joint SAR team involved in the search consisted of personnel from National SAR Agency, TNI (Indonesian Army), National Police, BPBS, IEA, and the community.

He explained that Omi went fishing with his partner, Holo, using a wooden boat around 16.00 WITA.

However, while traveling, their boat was hit by strong winds and overturned in Ilohungayo Village, Batudaa District.
