Led By Puan Maharani, 56 Members Of The DPR Physically Attended The P3 Bill Plenary Meeting

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives held the 23rd Plenary Meeting (Rapur) for Session V Year 2021-2022. One of the agendas for this rapur is ratifying the revision of the Law on the Establishment of Legislation (RUU P3).

The Plenary Meeting this time was chaired directly by the Chairperson of the DPR, Puan Maharani, accompanied by the Deputy Speakers of the DPR, Lodewijk Paulus, Rachmat Gobel and Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

However, only 56 members of the council attended in person. Meanwhile, there were 220 virtual attendances, as well as permission from 62 members, bringing the total attendance to 338 out of 575 people who were inaugurated. "According to records from the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, the list of attendance at today's plenary meeting has been signed by 56 physical, virtual 220, 62 permits so that the number has reached 338 people out of 575 members of the DPR RI and was attended by members of all factions in the DPR RI," said the Speaker of the DPR. Puan Maharani during the Plenary Session at the Nusantara II Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, May 24.

Puan also opened the meeting because the presence of 338 members was considered a quorum. "Thus, the quorum has been reached and please allow us to open the 23rd plenary meeting of the DPR RI during the V session of 2021-2022 and we declare that it is open and open to the public," said Puan.

To note, today's plenary meeting agenda includes the Submission of the 2021 Semester II Examination Results Summary (IHPS) and the Submission of the 2021 Second Semester Inspection Report (LHP) by BPK RI; Level II discussion/Decision-making on the Bill on the Second Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Establishment of Legislation; and Presenting Factions' Views on the Macroeconomic Framework and Fiscal Policy Principles (KEM and PPKF) in the RAPBN for Fiscal Year 2023.
