One of PT Korina's garment factory workers, Nela Aji, admitted that she immediately ran to save herself after hearing the factory siren sound.

He mentioned that many motorbikes belonging to his co-workers had to be left in the factory parking area because the owners had fled.

"Many motorbikes were submerged due to the rapid tidal flood, they didn't think about their belongings at all, the important thing was to be safe," said Nela Aji.

His colleague, Diah, added that this was the first time he had experienced tidal flooding as high as an adult's chest. "It's been a long time since the floods have been moderate," he said.

Apart from motorcycles and cars, thousands of sewing machines and production machines at a number of factories were also submerged by the tidal flood.

Dozens of containers or containers at the Tanjung Emas Port also seemed to be submerged by the tidal flood.

It is not yet known for sure the amount of losses from various parties due to the tidal flood that occurred simultaneously with high waves, and was exacerbated by the collapse of the sea wall.

Head of the Tanjung Emas Maritime Meteorology Station, Retno Widyaningsih, explained that tidal flooding and high waves that occurred due to the cycle at the end of the moon after the full moon and the earth with the moon in its closest position also hit coastal areas in Rembang, Pati, Demak, Semarang City, Pekalongan to Tegal regencies.
