JAKARTA - The special criminal investigation team for the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) again conducted searches related to the alleged corruption case of land acquisition in Cipayung, East Jakarta, in 2018.

This time, the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office searched the house and office of the notary with the initials LDS in a case where the land acquisition was carried out by the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service (Distamhut) in Cipayung District, East Jakarta,

"The team of investigators at the Special Crimes Assistant of the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office again carried out legal searches and confiscations at the residence of the LDS Notary witness in the Jatibening area of Bekasi," said Head of Legal Information (Penkum) of the Jakarta Attorney General's Office, Ashari Syam in his statement in Jakarta, as reported by Antara. , Monday, May 23.

In addition, a search was also carried out at the LDS notary office in the Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta.

In this case, there is an allegation of harming the state that is qualified for a criminal act of corruption.

Ashari explained that the searches at the two locations were carried out on Friday, May 20, from 17.30 to 19.45 WIB.

During a search at the residence of the LDS notary and his office, investigators confiscated a number of pieces of evidence to strengthen the evidence and identify the suspect.

According to Ashari, the searches were carried out at the two places in order to collect evidence for investigation and determination of suspects, because evidence and evidence were allegedly stored in the residence and office of the LDS notary.

Previously, from the results of the investigation team's examination of a number of witnesses, information was obtained that there was evidence in the form of important documents that were being investigated. "Evidence is allegedly stored and is in the house of the LDS notary witness," he said.

During the search, the investigative team found evidence in the form of documents such as passbooks and proof of transfers related to the flow of funds in the land acquisition process to build Child Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA) or Green Open Spaces (RTH).

"And confiscated evidence in the form of important documents, including savings books, proof of transfers, current accounts, electronic documents, as well as documents related to land acquisition in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta," he said.

Ashari emphasized that the documents that had been confiscated and collected by the Jakarta Attorney General's Office investigator team would later be able to shed light on the crimes that occurred and to find suspects in the land mafia case.

Previously, on Thursday (12/5) the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office investigator team conducted a search and confiscation of two houses in Depok and Cileungsi, West Java, related to this case.

This search was carried out on a land broker with the initials FJR who is located in Orchid Cluster 2 Blok M1-36E Tirtajaya Depok, West Java.

Then at the residence of PWM who is a retired civil servant at the DKI Jakarta City Park and Forest Service at Puri Cileungsi E-11/10 RT 05 RW 08 Gandoang Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

The budget disbursed by the City Parks and Forests Office of DKI Jakarta amounted to more than Rp. 326 billion for land acquisition in Cipayung District which had been built by the RPTRA.

"According to the facts of the investigation, in 2018, the Parks and Forestry Office of the DKI Jakarta Province had a budget for Land Capital Expenditure of Rp. 326,972,478,000 sourced from the DKI Jakarta Provincial APBD," Ashari said in a statement, Thursday, January 20.

The budget of hundreds of billions is for land acquisition activities for forest parks, graves and RPTRA in the East Jakarta Administrative City area.

"In its implementation, it is suspected that the price paid is too high, causing a loss to the state finances, in this case the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government of approximately Rp. 26,719,343,153," he said.
