401 Pilgrims Of Mataram Hajj Candidates Depart To The Holy Land In 2 Clusters

MATARAM - The total number of pilgrims in Mataram City who went to the Holy Land was 401 pilgrims. In its implementation, departures will be divided into two flying groups (kloters), namely one whole group and one mixed group.

Head of the Mataram City Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) M. Amin said that one complete group contained 389 Hajj candidates and the remaining 12 people entered the mixed group.

"We don't know yet, the 12 Mataram Hajj candidates will join a mixed group with pilgrims from which regencies/cities in NTB," he said in Mataram, Friday, May 20.

He said the departure of the pilgrims for the Mataram City pilgrimage was in the second wave, so they went straight to Mecca. According to the schedule, the complete Mataram group will enter the Hajj hostel on June 19, 2022.

"After 24 hours in the Hajj dormitory for various administration and other preparations, the congregation will depart for the Holy Land of Mecca on June 20, 2022," he said.

According to him, in one group, the congregation will be accompanied by a Regional Hajj Guidance Team (TPHD) which includes one person each for Hajj guides and advisors, the head of the group, doctors and nurses.

For congregation lodging in Mecca, everything is in the Mahbas Jin maktab. This location of the congregation's hut is close to the Grand Mosque only through one tunnel.

"Alhamdulillah, the congregation's maktab distance this year is not far from the Grand Mosque, about two kilometers," he said.

Mentioning about the preparation of the congregation, Amin said, starting today the pilgrims of Mataram City Hajj candidates will follow the guidance of the free Hajj rituals carried out by the Indonesian Hajj Brotherhood Association (IPHI) of Mataram City, for the next eight days.

Manasik guidance is carried out in several mosques that have been established in six sub-districts to bring the congregation closer and easier.

However, prior to the closing, a joint ritual will be carried out including field practice for worship activities in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and the practice of tawaf at the Hajj Dormitory between the South Ring Road of Mataram City.
