Metro Police Study Uya Kuya's Report On Medina Zein's Alleged Fraud

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya are currently studying reports of alleged car buying and selling fraud filed by Uya Kuya against Medina Zein.

"Yes, it's true that there was a report at the Metro Jaya Regional Police regarding fraud," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Endra Zulpan, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 19.

Zulpan said that the investigation team is still studying the report and the next step is to invite the complainant and the reported party to be asked for clarification.

"Later, we will study complete data, complete evidence, later on an agenda (summons)," he said.

Zulpan said Uya Kuya's report was received by the police on Sunday (15/5). There are also reports that there are cases of buying and selling cars.

In this case, said Zulpan, Uya had already transferred some money to buy a car. However, the sale and purchase agreement was eventually cancelled.

"The report about four days ago was related to fraud, in which the victim Uya Kuya had transferred an amount of approximately Rp. 150 million. Well, it turned out that at first it was a car sale and purchase agreement but apparently there was no sale and purchase of the car but the money has been transferred, that's what was reported, " he concluded.
