The Value Of Gala Dinner With Miyabi Is A Symbol Of Weakening Religion, Novel Bamukmin Asks MUI To Move People's Representatives

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General of the 212 Alumni Fraternity (PA 212) Novel Bamukmin emphasized that his party refused to have a dinner party or gala dinner with former pornographic actresses, Maria Ozawa or Miyabi.

According to Novel, this gala dinner is not an appropriate activity to be held. According to him, a gala dinner with Miyabi is tantamount to promoting immorality which is contrary to the values of Pancasila and Indonesian culture.

"Of course, we PA 212 strongly rejects and condemns the exploitation of pornographic artists because it will cause uproar and fights between the nation's children, because the way to show pornographic artists is a symbol to weaken religion," said Novel in a short message, Thursday, May 19.

To prevent this event from being held, Novel will ask a number of parties to participate in rejecting the gala dinner with Miyabi, starting from people's representatives such as the DPR RI and DPRD DKI as well as the Indonesian Ulema Council.

"We will coordinate with the competent authorities, as well as representatives of the people, leaders, and of course the ulama, as well as Islamic mass organizations including the MUI to refuse the presence and cancellation of the event," Novel said.

"Of course we also leave it to the community to take their own way," he continued.

For information, posters of a gala dinner or dinner with a former porn star, Miyabi, have circulated on social media. The gala dinner will be held at one of the luxury holes in Jakarta on 5 June.

Through uploads of posters circulating on Twitter social media, the gala dinner with Miyabi is limited to 50 people. Each person who registers is charged a tariff of Rp. 15 million.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta opened his voice. Riza sees that events that feature former porn movie stars must be handled wisely by all people.

"I think this is a reformed and open democratic country. Everything is left to the community in responding to it. Let's act wisely. So, we shouldn't blame each other," said Riza.
