SERANG - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of Serang City Police (Polresta), Banten Police uncovered a case of drug trafficking and illegal drugs and named three suspects.

"We have secured the suspect along with evidence of more than 80 grams of methamphetamine," said Serang City Police Chief Kombes Pol Nugroho Arianto during a press conference at the Serang City Police Headquarters, Banten, Wednesday 18 May.

The Serang City Police Narcotics Unit managed to uncover a drug case with three suspects HS (27), RR (25), TH (29). Their mode of saving and then selling to make a profit.

The distribution of the type of methamphetamine that was secured was more than 80 grams in the jurisdiction of the Serang City Police.

"The three suspects are currently being investigated, for the suspects under Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary 112 paragraph (2) of the RI Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum prison sentence of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years," he said. .

In addition to methamphetamine, said Nugroho again, the Narcotics Unit managed to uncover cases of illegal drugs of the type Tramadol and Hexymer.

"Evidence in the form of Tramadol as many as 3,875 pills and Hexymer as many as 9,140 pills with the suspect MZ (23).

"Everything is the result of the hard work of our ranks and thanks to the help of information from the community, so that we succeeded in uncovering narcotics cases," said Nugroho

The Head of Drugs at the Serang City Police, AKP Agus Ahmad Kurnia, said that the suspects were arrested at different locations. "We arrested the three suspects in different locations," he added.

According to him, the ranks of the narcotics satres continue to carry out investigations in eradicating drug trafficking. This is because it is possible that the suspects have a circulation network of illicit goods.

Therefore, his party hopes that all components of society will also care about this problem, in order to save the nation's generation from the negative effects of narcotics abuse.

"Drugs kill the future, so they must be eradicated early to save the nation's generation," he stressed.
