JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, encourages graduates of Vocational High Schools (SMK) to be directly absorbed in the world of work.

"We, the DKI Provincial Government, encourage schools, in addition to public schools, we also have vocational schools that we prepare and we present after graduation so that they can be absorbed into the workforce," said Ahmad Riza Patria at SMKN 24 Cipayung, East Jakarta, Wednesday 18 May.

To achieve this, his party will continue to strive to improve the quality of Vocational Schools in Jakarta.

He conveyed to parents not to hesitate to register their children to SMK.

"We make sure that the quality of Vocational Schools in Jakarta will be better in the future and can immediately absorb jobs so they can start working immediately," said Riza.

Riza said that based on his observations of a number of vocational schools in Jakarta, he received reports that many students who had graduated were immediately accepted into the world of work.

"Alhamdulillah, yesterday I went to SMK 63 and 100 percent of the graduates were absorbed by the existing industry. Then here at SMK 24, Alhamdulillah, all of them graduated from school and jobs could be absorbed," said Riza.
