PADANG - The trial of the alleged violation of Electronic Transaction Information (ITE) in the form of distributing fake letters that were considered detrimental to one of the mayoral candidates in the 2020 Bukittinggi election and then was colored by a fistfight involving supporters of each camp.

He does not know whether the fighting case has been reported to the police or not and does not know for sure whether these two people are supporters of the parties in the court case.

"We don't know for sure whether the visitors are pro A or pro B, we will coordinate with the police," he said.

Meanwhile, from one of the litigants, the lawyer for the former mayor, Ramlan Nurmatias, Ryan Permana Putra, regretted the commotion and asked for increased security at the judiciary.

"We from the lawyer Ramlan Nurmatias suggested to the Bukittinggi District Court to immediately increase security by cooperating with the Bukittinggi police, because during the trial there was never seen a police officer with a trial that was visited by two sympathizers of Ramlan Nurmatis and Erman Safar," he said. .

According to him, the cases being tried are quite prone to clashes due to the political situation and dissatisfaction with the results of the last Pilkada. "Because it is vulnerable, it is better to prevent it than to handle it after other alleged crimes have occurred," he said.
