East Aceh Ministry Of Religion Ready To Depart 100 Hajj Candidates To The Holy Land

ACEH TIMUR - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of East Aceh Regency said it had prepared the departure of 100 hajj candidates to the Holy Land.

"The hajj candidate is ready to depart. All departure documents such as passports are also ready," said Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Section of the Ministry of Religion of East Aceh Regency, Muzakir in East Aceh, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 17.

Muzakir said the quota for hajj candidates for East Aceh Regency was 104 people. However, 100 people departed, because three people delayed departure and one died.

Muzakir said that prospective hajj candidates postponed their departure due to illness. There are also those who delay their departure because their husbands failed to leave for health reasons.

In addition, there are also those who delay departure because there is no companion. Because, this year's hajj season, there will be no companion.

"Meanwhile, the pilgrims who died came from Gampong Kuala Peudawa Puntong, Idi Rayeuk District," said Muzakir.

Muzakir said that East Aceh Regency also received a quota of 32 reserve hajj candidates. However, they have not paid the cost of organizing the pilgrimage.

Even though they are in a reserve position, the 32 hajj candidates are required to pay the cost of organizing the hajj pilgrimage according to the provisions set by the government.

"We have made various preparations for departure, including the passport has been completed and we will immediately send it to the regional office for visa processing and other administration," said Muzakir.
