Husband's Cheating Dies At Wife's Hands: Police Examine Witness's Statement

JAKARTA - The Cengkareng Police are still establishing the husband of the perpetrator of the premeditated murder with the initials NU (36) as a witness. NU's husband is also still undergoing a series of police investigations related to his alleged involvement in the murder.

The Head of the Cengkareng Police of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ardhie Demastyo, said that the status of the husband of the perpetrator with the initials NU was still a witness.

"For now, witness examination is still being carried out, (husband) is still a witness," said Kompol Ardhie when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, May 17.

Later, after the results of the examination are known again, the police will confirm the status of the perpetrator's husband.

"If there is no involvement, then it will not be imposed. It is still a witness (the perpetrator's husband)," he said.

Previously, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police together with the Bekasi City Police Satreskrim succeeded in uncovering the murder case of the victim of a woman named Dini Nurdiani (26), a resident of Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The Head of the Cengkareng Police of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ardhie Demastyo, said the perpetrator was arrested for being involved in the premeditated murder of the victim who was the lover of her husband.

"The motive behind the heinous murder was because of jealousy," said Commissioner Ardhie, Saturday, May 14, yesterday.

Ardhie explained, the victim's body was found dead covered in blood, in the bushes of the Citra Green Cibubur area, Kranggan Bekasi.

According to the suspect's confession, said Ardhie, NU was desperate to kill the victim because he was burning with jealousy.

NU previously found a short message application on her husband's cellphone, which contained questions about when his mistress would divorce the suspect.

"Seeing a message like that, the suspect immediately became angry, and planned the murder," he said.

Then, the NU suspect, pretended to be her husband in replying to the short message. Long story short, still disguised as her husband, NU then invited the victim to break the fast together.

At that time, NU disguised himself as her husband's nephew. Then, the suspect picked up the victim at the Garuda Taman Mini bus stop.

"So the suspect pretended to be his husband's messenger or the victim's mistress. He pretended to be the nephew of his mistress," he said.

Before picking up the victim, the suspect first prepared the tools to kill the victim. Ranging from wrenches, lawn shears to copy clothes.

Arriving at a location that was considered far from the crowd, the suspect stopped his vehicle. He argued that the victim's mistress would meet him at that location.

The victim was waiting. At that time the suspect also offered the victim a drink. Then the suspect bought a drink, while making sure the surroundings were completely safe. No one passed.

When the victim was caught off guard, the suspect immediately hit the victim's head with a wrench that had previously been prepared. Seeing that Dini's victim was still alive, the suspect continued to stab the victim several times with the grass shears that he had prepared beforehand.

The suspect stabbed the scissors into several parts of the victim's body. One of the parts stabbed by the suspect was the neck.

"Seeing the victim was dead, then the suspect dragged him into a small ditch not far from the location," he explained.

Seeing the clothes the suspect was wearing was covered in blood, then he changed the clothes to the clothes he had prepared. The suspect then disposed of the evidence not far from the scene.

The suspect is charged with Article 340 Jo 338 concerning premeditated murder with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
