Purely Free Terrorism Convict From Lampung Rajabasa Prison

BANDARLAMPUNG - A citizen who was incarcerated in a terrorism case named Hartanto (38) was free from the Class I Rajabasa Correctional Institution (Lapas) Bandarlampung.

Hartanto's release from prison was witnessed by Detachment 88 personnel, the police, and the TNI.

Head of Class I Penitentiary (Kalapas) Bandar Lampung, Lampung, Maizar confirmed that the inmates in the terrorism case had been freed in a pure manner.

"Yes, that's right, one citizen who was incarcerated in a terrorism case has been released," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 16.

Hartanto served his sentence in prison for 4 years. Hartanto's release was based on Lapas Letter No: W9.PAS.1.PK.01.02-0915 with a statement of pure acquittal.

"He served a 4-year sentence and was declared the end of his sentence or pure release today. His freedom was witnessed by Densus 88, the police, and the TNI," he said.

Maizar added that while he was in prison, Hartanto had participated in many activities carried out by the prison, such as training in sewing and making bread.

He hopes that in the future Hartanto can be even better and can apply the training he gets from inside the prison.

"Hopefully the results of the training can be a provision for him when he is in the midst of society. Besides that, he can become even better, not repeating his actions," he said.
