CIANJUR - The Puncak-Cianjur route, West Java, is again running smoothly after the one-way system is implemented. The Cianjur Police will again do the same thing in the next two days or during the long holiday weekend as an effort to anticipate total traffic jams.

"It is situational, when the volume of vehicles increases, causing queues to stop at the speed of going to Bogor, we will implement a one-way system before noon. Meanwhile, in the morning a one-way system will be applied from Bogor to Cianjur," he said.

According to Antara's observation, as of Saturday night, the Puncak route was still busy and smoothly from both directions, dominated by Jabodetabek numbered vehicles with the destination of hotels and villas, which are widely available in the area, to spend the long weekend.

The speed of vehicles stagnates at a number of vulnerable points such as the Hanjawar T-junction, Cipanas Market and Pasekon-Pacet Highway, due to the large number of vehicles entering and leaving restaurants, hotels and villas on the main Puncak-Cianjur road.
