21 Landslide Points In Mamasa Have Been Cleaned

MAMASA - A total of 21 landslide points in Mehalaan District, which is located between Mambi District and Mamasa City, West Sulawesi (Sulbar) have been cleared by government heavy equipment.

"Two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles can already cross the road between Mambi District and Mamasa City because the landslide point in Mehalaan District has been cleared by the government," said Mamasa DPRD member Sapri Malik, quoted by Antara, Friday. May 13.

Government heavy equipment at the Mamasa Regency Public Works Service has cleared the landslide points along the road.

So that the community is asked to return to economic activities, because the road to Mamasa city is already passable and is no longer covered by landslides.

"A total of 21 landslide points that have blocked roads have been cleared so that people can cross, thank you for the government's hard work in clearing landslide points," he said.

Previously, the road connecting Mambi District and Mamasa City was blocked by landslides due to high rainfall in the past week in Mamasa.

The landslide made people's activities disrupted because they could not cross the road that was covered by landslides.
