Vehicles Have Been Prepared, Community Health Center Officers In Sangihe, North Sulawesi, Not Only In The Office, Must Visit Residents

SANGHIE - The Regent of Sangihe Islands Jabes Ezar Gaghana asked all health workers at the Puskesmas to be diligent in visiting communities in villages and sub-districts, in their respective work areas. The goal is to ensure the health of citizens.

"Officers at the puskesmas must be diligent in visiting residents in each village and kelurahan in their respective work areas," he said in Tahuna, Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province, Antara, Wednesday, May 11.

He explained that their visits to the village and sub-district communities were part of the government's responsibility to provide the best health services to the community.

"The government must be present to provide excellent service to the community," he said.

He said that visits should be carried out regularly by puskesmas officers because vehicle facilities have been prepared by the government.

The life expectancy of pregnant women and newborns, he said, should be a concern for the government, especially for medical personnel in the region.

"Use the facilities provided according to their functions, including visiting community members who need services in every village and kelurahan," he said.

He said the presence of pregnant women must continue to be monitored by medical personnel so that the health of babies and pregnant women can be maintained.

He hopes that the maximum service commitment of every government apparatus must animate every service to the community.
