JAKARTA - Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri appreciated the creativity of South Korean culture. Moreover, currently the fame of K-Pop and Korean dramas is worldwide.

Megawati then revealed that there was one Korean Wave phenomenon that made an impression on her, namely when the whole world, including Indonesia, was fond of Gangnam Style. This song was popularized by a Korean singer named Psy.

"And I still remember, when Gangnam Style suddenly became so popular, including in Indonesia," he said.

Not only that, Megawati also admitted that she participated in a number of Korean dramas and listened to the South Korean music group, BTS.
