JAKARTA - The Prosecutor's Office of South Sulawesi is following up on the instructions of Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin to eradicate the fertilizer mafia which has been troubling farmers.

He emphasized that there is no room for the mafia to play with fertilizers in the midst of the farmers' needs, especially now that they are entering the planting period. "The goal is to immediately take legal action according to the instructions of the Attorney General," said the Head of Information and Legal Section of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office stressed.

Burhanuddin also appreciated the efforts of the Pekalongan District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) for investigating the alleged fertilizer mafia and the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office for investigating the alleged land mafia.
