121 ASN Karawang Regency Government Turns Out Not Yet Coming To Work, Still On Leave

JAKARTA - A total of 121 state civil servants (ASN) in the Karawang Regency Government (Pemkab), West Java, have not yet come to work. They are still on vacation together.

Head of the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development (BKPSDM) Karawang Regency Asep Aang Rahmatullah, Monday 9 May, said 112 ASN of them took annual leave rights and nine others took maternity leave.

"There are provisions for those who carry out WFH (work from home), because in principle all ASN must return to work starting May 9, 2022, except those who already have leave permits, such as annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, leave for important reasons, leave large amount or leave outside the responsibility of the state," said Asep quoted from Antara.

He added that ASN who did not get the entitlement to joint leave due to duty, could take the entitlement to joint leave without reducing their annual leave entitlement starting Monday. This applies to ASN who work in the Health Service, Transportation Service, and Satpol PP.

Regarding the provisions for the implementation of WFH from Monday to Friday (13/5), Asep said the system of working from home could be carried out by ASN as long as they could not return to the agency because there were sick families in their hometowns, delays in public transportation, or damage to private vehicles on the way. going home.

The reason must be proven with supporting documents, he stressed. In addition, ASN who want to WFH must also submit a letter of application along with its duration to the head of the regional apparatus or direct supervisor, attaching evidence in the form of supporting documents.

"ASN who carry out WFH are required to carry out their duties according to daily performance indicators and report the results. In addition, there are a number of other provisions for those who will WFH, all of which are submitted through letters sent to each OPD (regional apparatus organization)," he said.

The Karawang Regency Government approved the proposal from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the direction of the Minister for Empowerment of the State Civil Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo regarding the implementation of WFH for ASN to reduce backflow density.

To implement the WFH, the Karawang Regency BKPSDM provides a number of provisions that ASN must comply with, as regulated in Letter Number 800/1559/PKDA dated May 8, 2022 regarding the Post-National Holiday Work System/Joint Leave.
