BANDUNG - West Java Governor M Ridwan Kamil said the local Provincial Government (Pemprov) was preparing work from home (WFH) for ASN as a future work system.

"Some ASN work in the future can be done from home or 'work from home' through a system that involves the sophistication of digital technology," said Ridwan Kamil after becoming the Advisor for the West Java Provincial Government Environmental Morning Call at the local Provincial Civil Service Agency (BKD), Bandung City. , Between, Monday, May 9th.

Starting the first day of work after the 2022 Eid holiday, the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil immediately became the coach of the Morning Apple Service at the West Java Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) along with dozens of ASN in the West Java Provincial Government.

"The task of the West Java BKD is now to start mapping out which ASN must work from home and which must continue to work in the office," said Ridwan Kamil.

"It is being studied, after the pandemic there is an adaptation of new habits, whether work can be WFH 100 percent, later we will make a new pattern, for example, you don't have to meet if it's done zooming in, as many as 27 regencies/cities can go via zoom and it's done, an example will be given later. if via zoom can be permanent," he continued.

According to him, ASN in the West Java Provincial Government must innovate in order to provide maximum service.

"West Java civil servants must not stop innovating and collaborating. So they must continue to think and produce innovation, including having to keep moving to invite all stakeholders to collaborate. It is our duty to serve wholeheartedly and provide services to citizens who are easy to understand or slow to understand," he said.

He asked ASN who are in the West Java Provincial Government to come up with a program and idea that can bring joy to the residents. The governor assessed that ASN in West Java had always been at the forefront of reform and adaptation.

"The payment for being an ASN is to give birth to happiness for its citizens. That West Java's HR affairs must be champions and at the forefront of reform and adaptation," he said.

Responding to the direction of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Tjahjo Kumolo regarding WFH a week (after the 2022 Eid holiday) starting from 9-13 May 2022, he said the West Java Provincial Government in implementing WFH is still using the West Java Regional Secretary's Circular (SE) which refers to the Instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs and SE Menpan RB.

In this case, the head of the regional apparatus organization (OPD) can arrange the WFH schedule according to the zone and level of the spread of COVID-19, including the West Java Regional Secretary's SE that ASN can apply for leave after holidays with holidays.
