According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), heat waves or known as "Heat Waves" are phenomena of air conditions. prolonged heat for five or more consecutive days where the daily maximum temperature is higher than the average maximum temperature of up to 5 degrees Celsius or more. Heat wave phenomena usually occur in mid-high latitude regions such as the European and American regions triggered by atmospheric dynamics in the middle latitudes. BMKG noted that the maximum temperature measured during the period 1-7 May 2022 ranged from 33-36.1 degrees Celsius with the highest maximum temperature of up to 36.1 degrees Celsius. in the Tangerang-Banten and Kalimarau-North Kalimantan regions.
