JAKARTA - The Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) PT Transportation Jakarta (TransJakarta) has extended the free tour bus service until Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from the previous schedule, May 8, 2022.
Head of the Corporate Communications and CSR Department of PT TransJakarta Iwan Samariansyah said the extension of the free tour bus service was to respond to the high public interest.
"In three days there were 17,524 customers using this free tour bus service. This figure is predicted to continue to increase, especially on weekends," said Iwan, quoted by Antara, Friday, May 6.
Iwan said TransJakarta provided eight units of free tour buses with a maximum capacity of up to 80 passengers.
The free tour bus also has a friendly design for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.
"No customers are allowed to stand so they can feel safe and comfortable," said Iwan.
Customers can enjoy the free tour bus service from 10.00 WIB - 21.00 WIB. Even though it is free, customers will be given a torn ticket (tiso) before entering the bus fleet.
