JAKARTA - On D+1 Idul Fitri 1443 H/2022 which falls on Wednesday 4 May 2022, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded as many as 195.453 vehicles returning to the Jabodetabek area

Jasa's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head, Marga Dwimawan Heru, said this figure is the cumulative number of traffic (traffic) from the four Barrier/Main Toll Gate (GT) namely Cikupa GT (Merak direction), Ciawi GT (Peak direction), and GT Cikampek Utama and GT Kalihurip Utama (towards Trans Java and Bandung).

"The total volume of traffic returning to the Jabodetabek area increased by 44.9 percent compared to the normal November 2021 period with a total of 134,844 vehicles," Heru said in a written statement in Jakarta received by Antara, Thursday, May 5.

For the distribution of traffic entering Jabodetabek from the three directions, namely the majority of 107,930 vehicles (55.2 percent) from the east (Trans Java and Bandung), 44,781 vehicles (22.9 percent) from the west (Merak), and 42,742 vehicles (21, 9 percent) from the South (Peak).

From the east, vehicles returning to Jabodetabek from the Trans Java direction via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road reached 61,348 vehicles, an increase of 100.8 percent from normal. Vehicles returning to Jabodetabek from Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, totaled 46,582 vehicles, an increase of 65 percent from normal. The total number of vehicles returning to Jabodetabek to the direction of Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 107,930 vehicles, an increase of 83.6 percent from normal. From the west, those returning to Jabodetabek towards Merak via GT Cikupa, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, amounted to 44,781 vehicles, down 3.1 percent from normal. Then from the south, the number of vehicles leaving Jabodetabek towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 42,742 vehicles, an increase of 43.2 percent from normal.
