Having Fun Spending Time With Jan Ethes And His 2 Grandchildren, Jokowi Looks Relaxed In Flip-flops

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) took the time to spend time with his three grandchildren, namely Jan Ethes Srinarendra, Sedah Mirah Nasution, and La Lembah Manah at the Yogyakarta Presidential Palace.

As usual, a grandfather plays with his grandson, Jokowi's appearance is so relaxed. Still wearing a white rolled-up long-sleeved shirt and black pants, the former governor of DKI Jakarta is seen wearing green flip-flops.

This can be seen from a photo taken by the Presidential Secretariat BPMI, Tuesday, May 3. Jokowi is seen carrying La Lembah while Jan Ethes and Sedah Mirah are on the wagon.

Meanwhile, in the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube video uploaded today, Wednesday, May 4, Jokowi was initially seen driving a golf cart and stopped in front of the main gate. Meanwhile, his two grandchildren greet the community.

"Minal aidin wal faizin," said Jan Ethes to the public. Meanwhile, Sedah Mirah seemed to be waving her hand.

The President also greeted the public directly and distributed T-shirts. One of them, Dewi who comes from Solo.

When invited to approach and receive a t-shirt from Jokowi, Dewi couldn't hide her joy. "Thank you, Pak Jokowi," he said from behind a mask.

After receiving the t-shirt, he admitted that he was happy and did not expect to meet President Jokowi in person. Dewi also received a happy holiday from Jan Ethes.

"I'm very happy, I didn't think so. That, Jan Ethes said happy Eid. Then you asked where it came from, I said that from Solo," he said.

"I hope you are always healthy and thank you for the leadership so that we can carry out Eid this year and can gather with family," added Dewi.

After using the golf cart, the President invited his grandchildren to ride the wagon. Sitting beside the coachman, the President seemed to be holding La Lembah Manah. Meanwhile, Jan Ethes and Sedah Mirah sat in the second row.

Sedah Mirah's younger brother, Panembahan Al Nahyan Nasution, appeared to participate after several rounds. After playing with his grandchildren, at around 17.00 WIB, President Jokowi returned to Gedung Agung.
