JAKARTA - The management of Ancol Dreamland Park estimates that the number of visitors will reach an average of 55,000 people per day during this year's Lebaran holiday.

This is realistic because on the second day of the Lebaran holiday, 70,000 people visited this tourist attraction.

"The second day yesterday was the highest during Ancol's operation during the pandemic. That's a total of 70,000 visitors," said Corporate Communications Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Ariadi Eko Nugroho when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 5, quoted from Antara.

Especially today, the number of visitors at Ancol Dreamland Park reached 32,000 people. That is the data that came in until 10:00 WIB. "Today the number of visitors is quite large and the majority of visits to four points in the coastal area, namely the Lagoon, Symphoni of the Sea, Pantai Indah and also the Festival Beach," he said.

To anticipate the surge in visitors, his party has made several preparations such as making security posts and diverting traffic flows in the Ancol area.

"We direct incoming visitors to the west area or Dufan and Festival Beach because there we have interesting events so that visitors can enter the central and east coast areas," he said.

In terms of security, his party has also coordinated with the North Jakarta Resort Police, the Kodim and the North Jakarta City Civil Service Police Unit to guard the Ancol area.

"We are also collaborating with the TNI Polres Satpol PP to help with security, including being a COVID-19 Task Force team with a total of approximately 300 personnel," he said.

Previously, it was crowded on social media about the density of visitors who wanted to enter Ancol. Let alone being able to enjoy the rides, to find parking alone can take more than two hours.
