JAKARTA - Around 45 thousand people are expected to visit Ragunan Wildlife Park, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, May 5.

The estimated number of visitors as many as 45,000 people is equivalent to 75 percent of the capacity of the Ragunan Wildlife Park.

"We estimate today's peak, a maximum of 45,000 or equivalent to 75 percent capacity of Ragunan Wildlife Park," said Ragunan Wildlife Park Information and Public Relations Staff, Wahyudi Bambang, when confirmed at the location, reported by Antara.

Wahyu said that this might have happened considering that up to this afternoon the number of visitors had reached 10,000 people.

To anticipate this, his party has prepared anticipatory steps if there is a surge in the number of visitors today. The first step is to provide security posts at the two main doors.

The security post is provided to anticipate criminal acts that occur in the park area such as pickpockets and other thefts.

In addition, his party is also working with the Pasar Minggu Police to deploy security officers throughout the park area. "The security officers we deploy are either uniformed or non-uniformed," he said.

His party also assigned several officers to go around while remembering visitors to obey health protocols.

Until now, the number of visitors continues to grow every hour. He hopes that today the number of visitors can reach the maximum number.
