Homecoming After Eid? Remember, Report RT And RW Before You Leave Home To Avoid Theft

JAKARTA - Gambir Metro Police Chief Kompol Rango Siregar, asked people who want to leave their homes before and after Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah to report to local RT and RW administrators.

"Please convey the house key to the head of the RT or RW if the person concerned wants to leave the house. We anticipate it in houses of densely populated residents," said Police Commissioner Rango Siregar, when interviewed recently.

The police chief detailed that in his area there are several areas that are prone to disturbances to the security and social order. Starting from the crime of theft and fighting citizens.

"We are anticipating theft in the home where the travelers live. The location is vulnerable (kamtibmas) in Duri Pulo and Cideng villages," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the prevention of brawls on the night of takbiran, the Gambir Police have increased security by adding checking points.

"It's been a month now, we have been actively carrying out Ramadan security posts to anticipate brawls. There are 5 posts in 6 urban villages that we consider vulnerable. Patrols are increased to avoid clashes between residents at takbiran nights," he said.
