Jasa Marga: There Is An Increase In Vehicle Volume On All Outer Java Toll Roads During Lebaran

JAKARTA - Jasa Marga recorded an increase in traffic volume (traffic) in all toll roads outside Java until the H-1 of Eid 2022 or May 1, 2022.

"On D-10 to D-1 Idul Fitri 1443 H (April 22 to May 1 2022), Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNTRD) recorded an increase in traffic volume in all toll roads outside Java," said Marketing and Communications. For the Medan area, there were 281,000 vehicles crossing the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, an increase of 21.8 percent compared to the normal daily traffic in November 2021, which was 231,000 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Belawan-Medan-Tj. In Morawa, there were 840 thousand vehicles passing, an increase of 0.5 percent compared to the normal daily traffic in November 2021, which was 835 thousand vehicles.

The peak traffic volume for the homecoming flow occurred on the 2nd day of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H or April 30, 2022, there were 18 thousand vehicles leaving the city of Medan through the Tebing Tinggi (GT) Toll Gate (Arah Tebing Tinggi/Parapat), an increase of 64 percent compared to November 2021 normal daily traffic is 11 thousand vehicles.

For the East Kalimantan region, there were 83 thousand vehicles passing, an increase of 5.7 percent compared to the normal daily traffic in November 2021, which was 78 thousand vehicles.

For the North Sulawesi Region, as many as 63,000 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 1.2 percent compared to the normal daily traffic in November 2021, which was 62,000 vehicles.

For the Bali area, a significant increase also occurred in the Bali Mandara Toll Road, as many as 196,000 vehicles passed, an increase of 15.5 percent compared to the normal daily traffic in November 2021, which was 169,000 vehicles.

Traffic volume also experienced a significant increase on the H1 of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H (2 May 2022), there were 17 thousand vehicles leaving Medan City via Tebing Tinggi GT, an increase of 96 percent compared to November 2021 normal traffic of 9 thousand vehicles.
