Airlangga: Lebaran 1443H Moment To Maintain Togetherness And Cohesiveness

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto said Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri is a momentum to maintain cohesiveness and unity ahead of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) and encourage community economic recovery.

Airlangga was grateful that the Eid 1443 Hijri prayer could be held in mosques, prayer rooms, and open fields. Indonesian people can also perform Eid prayers in congregation by closing the rows of rows.

"Alhamdulillah, this year's Eid al-Fitr we can meet face to face with friends, relatives, neighbors and the surrounding environment," said Airlangga after the Eid prayer at the Golkar Ainul Hikmah mosque, Jakarta, Monday, May 2.

According to him, this year's Eid al-Fitr homecoming, the community wants to release the longing to stay in touch with their hometowns by carrying out homecoming trips in a smooth and orderly manner. The homecomers gathered with their relatives in their hometown full of joy, joy, and friendship after two years of not seeing each other.

The Coordinating Minister for the Economy said that this moment should be shared with gratitude because the control and handling of COVID-19 in Indonesia is much better, so that people can celebrate Eid al-Fitr and going home as they are currently experiencing.

"Of course, we still urge all of us to maintain health protocols, especially by wearing masks to protect us," he said.

Airlangga also hopes that the improvement in COVID-19 will launch the economy and social life in the community.

"We hope that the social and economic life of the community will run smoothly and return to normal soon," he said.

The chairman of the Golkar Party also emphasized the importance of maintaining internal unity and integrity within the Golkar Party in all regions.

"For Golkar Party cadres, increase our solidity and cohesiveness by consolidating the party, making our determination to win in the 2024 Legislative and Presidential Elections, by working hard to convince the public," said Airlangga.

Also attending the Eid prayer at the Golkar Party's DPP Office were the Chairman of the Honorary Council Akbar Tanjung, Secretary General Lodewijk F. Paulus, General Treasurer Dito Ganinduto, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Head of Religious Affairs TB Ace Hasan Syadzily and other members of the board.
