JAKARTA - In the midst of the explosion of homecoming traffic ahead of Lebaran this year, PMI Tangerang-Banten City has alerted four units of response motorbikes to help travelers who need medical treatment quickly and accurately.

"When there are travelers who need quick treatment, we have prepared a fleet with personnel on standby," said PMI Tangerang City Head, Oman Jumansyah in Tangerang, Saturday, April 30.

Oman said PMI Tangerang City also alerted two ambulance units at the health service post which was on the homecoming route. The personnel prepared were 30 people consisting of employees, KSR (Voluntary Corps), Forpis, TSR, PMI Subdistrict volunteers and Sibat.

"Each post has provided a fleet and Human Resources (HR) for the smooth running of health services for travelers," Oman said as quoted by Antara.

The Head of Service, Ade Kurniawan, said that the personnel on duty had been provided with first aid kits and collaborated with the Police and TNI officers.

"I hope that the public will continue to follow the relevant government regulations to comply with health protocols during this Eid homecoming, because the pandemic is still not over so that families in their hometowns are safe," said Ade.
