JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, has ensured that there will be a free return program for citizens who work in Jabodetabek.

"For the return flow later, we have prepared free transportation. The plan is the same, there are trains and buses," said Ganjar in his official statement, Saturday, April 30.

A total of 145 buses and four train cars were prepared for the free return program. Regarding the departure schedule, his party is still coordinating with a number of related parties.

"Hopefully people who will return to Jabodetabek can take advantage of this program," said the governor.

The provision of this free return transportation, continued Ganjar, cannot be separated from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in the free homecoming program. When releasing 5,748 homecomers via bus at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah last Thursday, April 28, he saw that the community was very excited.

"To the extent that last night I was called, sir, there is something left behind. Even though we have already dispatched 126 buses. Finally, at night, I looked for three additional buses to facilitate our brothers and sisters going home for Eid," he said.

Meanwhile, the news of the free return transportation was greeted enthusiastically by the community. They are very grateful to get free homecoming and return facilities from Ganjar.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm very happy when I come back for free again. This is very helpful for us little people who want to celebrate Eid in the village. Yes, I'll definitely join, right, it's not bad,” said Abdul Wahid (54), a casual laborer from Demak.

The same thing was conveyed by Aldi Bagus (30), a homecomer from Brebes. He said he was relieved by the free return transportation program to return to Jakarta.

“If there is free return transportation, I am very grateful. This is very helpful for us. Just imagine if the cost alone runs out how much this, one person can only be Rp. 300,000. How many families do you have," he said.

Aldi appreciated Ganjar for not only providing free homecoming using buses, but also trains. He who goes home with his wife who is pregnant, is indeed more comfortable taking the train mode of transportation.

“It is safer and more comfortable to use the train, because the wife is very pregnant. Later, if there is free return transportation, yes, we will also take the train," he said.
