COVID-19 Update As Of April 29: 395 New Cases, 572 Recovered

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. The cumulative total of cases stands at 6,046,467 since the first cases were announced on March 2. Meanwhile, new cases per day reached 395 people.

Meanwhile, 572 people recovered today, bringing the total to 5,882,062 recovered. Meanwhile, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 23 people and a total of 156,240 people.

Meanwhile, the province with the most new cases was DKI Jakarta with 126 new cases and a total of 1,247,583 cases. Consists of 112 local transmissions and 14 foreign travelers (PPLN).

Followed by West Java with 70 new cases and a total of 1,105,351 cases. It consists of 70 local transmissions and 0 PPLN.

Then, Central Java with 41 new cases and a total of 6,270.65 cases. Consists of local transmission 41 and 0 PPLN.

Next is East Java with 40 new cases and a total of 575,513 recorded cases. Consists of 35 local transmissions and 5 PPLN.

Then, Banten 34 with new cases and a total of 292,325 cases recorded. Consists of local transmission 34 and 0 PPLN.

Then, East Nusa Tenggara with 11 new cases and a total of 92,129 cases. Consists of local transmission 11 and 0 PPLN.

The province with the most recovered cases today is DKI Jakarta with an increase of 184 cases. Then, followed by West Java with 74 cases recovered. Then, Bali with the addition of 56 cases, and Banten 45 cases recovered.

"The highest death cases were in East Java with 10 people. Then West Java with 3 people," as quoted from Ministry of Health data, Friday, April 29.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined per day is 97,885. Meanwhile, cumulatively it reached 95,495,775. As for the details, 40,176,886 were examined by RT-PCR, 284,908 by the TMC method and 55,033,981 people were tested for antigen.

"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it is recorded at 2,440 people," he said.

Then, the weekly positivity rate for people from April 17 to 23, 2022 is 1.07 percent. While the daily positivity rate is 0.72 percent.

Currently, the number of people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination has increased by 104,265 and the total has reached 199,296,158, and the second dose of vaccination has increased by 394,979, the cumulative total has reached 165,052,289. Then the third dose of vaccination was increased by 1,834,195 and the total reached 39,293,008. Meanwhile, the vaccination target reached 208,265,720 people.
