Billy Syahputra Says The Car Bought By The Suspect DNA Pro Has Been Confiscated

JAKARTA - Artist Billy Syahputra through his attorney, Fachmi Bachmid, said that the Alphard car bought by the suspect in the DNA Pro trading robot case, Stefanus Richard, had been confiscated by the Criminal Investigation Department.

The statement was delivered after his client finished undergoing an examination of about 4 hours with 17 questions.

"The car has been confiscated by investigators. The investigator considers it necessary to conduct a cross-check and ask Billy whether it is true that a sale and purchase transaction took place on his car," said Fachmi to reporters, Thursday, April 28.

To the investigators, Billy also explained about the beginning of the buying and selling transaction. Where, the suspect is Stefanus who contacted Billy first.

"I have conveyed how he initially sold his Alphard, starting with his post stating that I would sell my car," said Fachmi.

"So the suspect contacted Billy and this sale and purchase transaction took place. So purely Billy was selling his car and Steven buying it," he continued.

In fact, Fachmi also emphasized to the investigators that his client explained that he did not know the figure of Stefanus Richard.

"I don't know, Billy doesn't know and has no connection with the problem with Steven being a suspect in a business related to DNA Pro, not a member or Billy, yes, there's no connection at all," said Fachmi. For information, Billy Syahputra was involved in buying and selling Alphard cars with suspect Stephen Richard. The nominal value is around IDR 1 billion.

Meanwhile, in investigating the flow of funds for the DNA Pro trading robot, a number of artists have been questioned. Among them, Rizky Billar, Lesty Kejora, Ivan Gunawan, Rossa, DJ Una, Nowela, and Yosi Project Pop.

In this case, Bareskrim arrested 8 suspects who were arrested. While 4 of them are still being hunted.
