Satpol PP Will Hold Mask Raids At Tourist Attractions During The 2022 Eid Holiday

MATARAM - The Mataram City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) reminded the public to continue implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in a number of tourist attractions during the 2022 Eid holiday.

"Even though we are currently at PPKM level one status, the COVID-19 procedures, especially masks, must still be used," said Mataram City Civil Service Police Chief (Kasatpol PP), Irwan Rahadi in Mataram, Thursday, April 28.

The statement was conveyed, considering that the long Eid 2022 holiday has the potential to increase visits to a number of tourist objects in Mataram.

Meanwhile, those who come to tourist attractions in Mataram are not only city residents but also residents outside Mataram and even outside the area who come home for Eid so it must be anticipated.

"Therefore, we hope that the community can be adaptive to the current pandemic conditions. The concessions provided by the government should not make people neglect to use masks," he said.

However, continued Irwan, the prepared mask raids will be carried out humanely, namely by giving warnings and providing masks for visitors who do not bring masks.

"For the distribution of these masks, we will coordinate with the Mataram City BPBD. We will adjust the amount according to the existing stock," he said.

Meanwhile, the number of personnel who will be lowered in the mask raid activity, he added, is at least 30 people. They will go down at a number of tourist attractions in Mataram.

Such as Ivory Coast, Mapak Beach, Loang Baloq, Tanjung Karang, Ampenan Beach and Meninting. Included in religious tourism are the Loang Balok Tomb and Bintaro Tomb.

"In addition to conducting mask raids, we will also carry out special patrols along the nine kilometer coast of Mataram City to provide a sense of security and comfort for visitors," he said.
