Ridwan Kamil: 24 Thousand Vehicles Enter Through The Padalarang Toll Gate

BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil reviewed the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow on the Padalarang toll road to the Cileunyi toll road. Based on the data he obtained, as many as 24 thousand vehicles entered through the Padalarang Toll Road, West Bandung Regency.

"We are monitoring from Padalarang, Cileunyi, the movement is safely under control. At the Padalarang Toll Gate as many as 24 thousand (vehicles) enter," said Ridwan Kamil after reviewing the homecoming implementation at the Cileunyi Security Post, Bandung Regency, reported by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

He said the implementation of the one-way system on the KM 47 Cikampek Toll Road began on Thursday at 17.00 WIB.

In addition, the odd-even system will also be implemented before entering the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

"Even today, at 17.00 WIB, the direction from Jakarta to Bandung Cirebon is one way. Before 17.00 WIB from Bandung to Jakarta it is still possible but there is a 'contra flow'. After 17.00 WIB it is 'full' anticipating the density," he said.

According to Kang Emil, more than 400 posts were established in West Java to secure the going home for Eid 2022 and a number of them provide public facilities for travelers such as resting places.

"So 400 posts have been installed throughout West Java. There are main posts. If you are tired, don't force it, you can rest first, eat free, massage for free, get vaccines too," he said.

Ridwan Kamil also gave a message to joint officers who secure the homecoming flow in West Java.

The Governor of West Java asked joint officers to always be on standby because this year's homecoming flow is predicted to increase after two years of going home activities banned by the government due to community restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Of course, everyone is on alert for incoming flows, backflows and tourist attractions. Please welcome Lebaran by going home, but we officers and officials remain on alert," said Ridwan Kamil.
