Jagorawi Toll Road Leads To Ciawi Smoothly Jaya

JAKARTA - The Jagorawi toll road section from the direction of Jakarta to the Ciawi exit is currently being monitored very smoothly ahead of the arrival of the 2022 Eid homecoming flow.

The Jagorawi toll road from the direction of Jakarta to the Puncak and Ciawi exits at the KM 35 rest area until just before the South Sentul exit, the traffic flow was quiet and busy approaching noon, Tuesday, April 26, quoted from Antara.

The opposite section from Puncak and Ciawi to Jakarta was also observed to be empty.

As previously reported, the peak volume of homecoming traffic in the Ciawi intersection area is expected to fall on April 28.

This was said by the Head of the Ciawi Police, Kompol Asep Triyono, who is also the Head of the Ketupat Lodaya 2022 Operations at the Ciawi intersection when he was met on Monday (25/4).

Meanwhile, the Head of the Traffic Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Dicky Pranata, when met at the Integrated Service Post for the Puncak Tourism Route at the Gadog intersection on Monday, said that the highest traffic density at the Gadog to Puncak intersection during the Lebaran 2022 homecoming period is expected to fall on the day of -H Lebaran.

"Our estimate is that on the Puncak route, there will be an increase in the volume of vehicles around Eid, D1 and D2," said Dicky.

Meanwhile, according to data released by the toll road management company PT Jasa Marga, as many as 187,495 vehicles have left the Jabodetabek area heading south, namely towards Puncak, through the Ciawi toll gate from D-10 to D-7 Lebaran 2022.

This figure represents a decrease of 6.6 percent when compared to normal traffic flow.

PT Jasa Marga also appeals to toll road users to ensure travel readiness, including by complying with health protocols, especially when in rest areas, filling fuel and sufficient electronic money balances, complying with signs and directions from officers and ensuring that vehicles are within prime condition.
