Breaking The Density Of Homecoming At Kliwon Market, Temanggung, Police Implement Traffic Engineering

TEMANGGUNG - The Temanggung Resort Police carried out traffic engineering to anticipate the density of going back and forth for Lebaran 2022. Special engineering was carried out in front of the Temanggung Kliwon Market.

The Traffic Head of the Temanggung Police, AKP Komang Karisma, said that the traffic engineering in front of the Temanggung Kliwon Market was carried out in line with the increase in vehicle density on the D-7 of Eid 2022 on Monday, April 25.

"Traffic engineering is of course looking at the situation, so it is flexible. If there is a traffic density in front of the Kliwon Market at peak hours like this afternoon, the flow will be divided in the Pancasila Park area," he said, as reported by Antara.

He explained that if there was congestion in front of the Kliwon Market, traffic from the east to Parakan, Wonosobo, and Kendal was diverted to the north at Pancasila Park, entered the Secretariat and then through the OBL Intersection.

"With this diversion, Jalan A. Yani, which is usually one-way, is turned into two directions," he said.

Komang conveyed that the second engineering was carried out if the traffic flow was denser and there was congestion towards Kliwon Market, then at the Madureso Terminal Intersection it was diverted to the Maron terminal ring lane.

"Meanwhile, we are doing traffic engineering. If there is an accident or other natural disaster, we will look at the situation on the ground," he added.

According to him, on H-7 Lebaran there has been an increase in traffic flow, especially the flow of local traffic and vehicles from outside the city, but not so much.
